The Challenge

All these years managers have been leading teams, often having people near, in an office space. This radically changed within a couple of weeks, with no advance notice. A large part of the workforce is now working remotely, from home. How should a remote team be led?

Our Solution

Different personalities, different leadership styles or preference for a leadership style, different ways to contribute to the collaboration in a team. The same applies for working from home in distributed teams. An extraverted person will probably experience working from home different than an introverted person.

We coach leaders in this transition to guide their teams remotely and create an online work environment in which everybody feels included. Leaders will learn how to tap into the collective intelligence of their teams by reducing competition, and increasing knowledge, experience and information sharing. By incorporating co-creation practices, team members will create involvement, develop a sense of closeness and eventually of belonging.

Each coaching trajectory is designed for the specific circunstantes each leader is facing. The program combines individual coaching, group sessions with team to develop productive online conversations, as well as joint design sessions to co-create an online collaboration model that works for the team.

Diring the process we will us different technologies to guide the coaching process, but also to showcase how to use different tools for online collaboration. 

Probably the first reaction of most leaders is to mirror their office routines, using technology to overcome the challenge of working remotely.

However, the context in which work has to be delivered, has completely changed. A whole different skill set is required to guide teams through these ambiguous times to a "new normal".
